The SEAOP was founded in 1954 by a group of highly skilled and dedicated dentists that were committed to continuing their studies of prosthodontics in an effort to provide the highest quality of dentistry to their patients.  By invite only, other highly skilled and dedicated clinicians throughout the southeast joined them in their pursuit of excellence through continued education.

Today, that tradition lives on. Through the annual scientific programs, the foundation’s resident scholarship program and wonderful social opportunities, we, as an organization, stand committed to the profession. The camaraderie and enduring friendships that develop among the members of our academy provide the perfect balance between professional and personal relationships.
